Cherryhill Orchards Will Spring to Life with the Blossom Festival this September!

Cherries for days at this amazing Yarra Valley Orchard…

We are almost through another Melbourne winter lockdown for another year. Maybe we are just glass half full here at Doer but we are quietly optimistic that the fun times will be in full swing this Spring. So we are pretty pumped the upcoming annual Cherryhill Orchards Blossom Festival from September 18 – October 3.

The Wandin East Orchard in the Yarra Valley will spring to life and celebrate cherry blossom season which sees their cherry trees create a visual masterpiece for just two weeks only.

Cherries are obviously the star of the show so you’ll be able to work your way through everybody’s favourite cherry ice cream and plenty of cherry inspired drinks.

But there’s so much more on offer than just a few cherries and some beautiful blooms as you’ll be treated to live music, craft stalls, lawn games and food trucks.

We should mention that you’ll have some seriously Instagrammable moments here including the option to order a Posh picnic in your own private row of cherry blossoms. The four-hour package (for a minimum of 4) includes a grazing platter, gourmet bites, sweet treats and drinks to boot.

And given millions flock to Japan for their cherry blossom season, it would be rude not to also offer up a Chef’s pick Uminono Sushi box for you to feast on.

Finally, if you really want to pimp your experience, you can opt for a morning hot air balloon ride and Cherryhill Orchards also run a host of workshops from flower crown creation to beekeeping basics.
