Dine-in City Rooftop Igloos, Hot Espresso Martinis and Ice Skating – Now That’s Winter!

Ice, Ice baby! Winter is coming and Melbourne might be the best at it, if you like the cold. However, even if you don’t, never fear, The Winter Village is back in all it’s igloo glory but this time with an ice skating rink (on the rooftop too).

That’s right, dine-in igloos that you can enjoy hot expresso martinis, mac and cheese or our personal favourite, the roasted marshmallows dipped in chocolate fondue *insert homer simpson drooling*.

While Melbourne will do its best to freeze you to death, these private igloos give you comfort and warm while you get to take in the city skyline under the stars.

If you’re thinking about trying multiple hot espresso martinis we suggest you strap on the ice skates beforehand, just think Steve Bradbury’s competition *ahem*. The ice rink caters for all levels, so in try doer style, do different and give it a go if you haven’t before. We love it!

The brunch-skate combo is a winner to try a little from column a and a little from column b.

Hitting Federation square on the 13th May and hanging around until Sunday 29th August, this has plenty for anyone to wrap their mitts around.
