It’s been a long time coming. But after having the brakes put on its Melbourne debut, Moulin Rouge! The Musical is about to drop its lavish show at the Regent Theatre from November 12.
And this is going to be gangbusters. Expect this to be the talk of the town for the next few months. This is a MUST do.
Get set to enjoy some of your favourite tunes as the stage version closely follows the film and will bust out all the greats like ‘Lady Marmalade’, ‘Come What May’ and ‘Your Song’. There’s even some new tracks to get a run in since the films release way back in 2001 so listen out for the likes of Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’.
Globally, people are absolutely raving about the show. No pressure hey…but you should expect big things and you’ll get it the moment you rock up. Because a slice of Paris comes our way with the Regent Theatre being fully transformed with those French nightclub vibes, even featuring an iconic giant windmill and huge blue elephant.
Gitchie, gitchie, ya-ya, da-da, you get the gist. Buy a bloody ticket as this is going to be the hottest show this summer!
