After Dark the NGV takes on a new life and atmosphere that you’ll be raving about.
Whether you’re a fan of art and exhibitions or not, the NGV has a habit of absolutely nailing good times on a Friday night. The next round up on their famous NGV Friday Night’s is the Picasso Century Exhibition.
Expect an epic lineup of gigs coupled with your choice of a few pop-up bars. That’s right, say G’day to winter with a boogie and a Bev(s) in hand while you enjoy this after dark exhibition.
It all kicks off on June 10 through to October 7 and your ear canals are going to be treated to a slew of different acts from 6pm each Friday. On the cards is Ngaiire, Birdsnake, Emma Donovan and the Putbacks, Polly and the Pockets, plus heaps more!
And those beats are going to make you just a lil’ bit thirsty and hungry so combine your after-hours visit to The Picasso Century with Mediterranean and Iberian-inspired dining, courtesy of mega Melbourne institution, Bar Lourinhã.
You’ll also get to go to town on a glass of bubbles at the Pommery Champagne Bar with oysters and a DJ set before you hit the exhibition plus enjoy a unique wine-tasting experience at the Yering Station Wine Bar.
