This one was is way too tempting, so we caved.

Don’t just dip your toe in the water, be boulder.

Are you ready to explore the depths of the earth and wade through subterranean rivers; marvel at phosphorus glow worms, cross chasms and explore the caverns of this unique granite boulder cave system? If this sounds undeniably awesome to you then don’t go anywhere but here of course.

It only operates twice per month, but you won’t have to travel far, as this incredible caving experience is only 50 minutes drive from Melbourne.

Now before you think of a nice casual stroll through a cave system, let us clear things up; this is Spelunking or adventure caving, which is no Sunday stroll – it’s so much better (and dirtier). Seriously though, you’ll be crawling on your hands and knees, sliding, scrambling over rocks, squeezing through tight spaces and getting wet and mudding while you explore hidden caverns.

The coolest part of this caving experience is that you’ll be exploring caves that have been formed over thousands of years from water erosion, as well as housing its own eco system of glow worms, cave crickets and fungi, amongst other things (soz, if you’re not an insect person).

The cave system has plenty of entrances and exits, so even if you’re the claustrophobic type you’ll still have a blast.

A small word of advice; wear old clothes and bring a spare set. Long sleeve top and pants are best.. trust us.
