What’s the key to a good time? It’s the newest all-in-one vintage bowling alley with its own beer garden and arcade. Aptly named The Keys of course!

Whether you want to chase spares on retro bowling lanes, sink craft ales in a leafy beer garden, or just enjoy great food and vibes, this is where you have to roll this summer.

The Keys will be in the heart of Preston at 188 Plenty Rd and opening its doors as we get ready to rumble this summer.

At Doer we love a bit of ‘Do Different’ and so you might be asking what sets this apart? Well get set to ditch the the glow-in-the-dark shoes, sticky carpet and laser lights from your childhood. These 12 lanes are crafted using upcycled timbers and trimmings from old bowling alleys in America, creating an authentic vintage feel you can’t find anywhere else.

So on the off chance you’re a bit weird and aren’t a fan of bowling, it doesn’t matter with this place. If you can’t find something that floats ya boat from the pool tables, to classic arcade machines, a dance floor, bistro and a pretty ace beer garden then well we probably wouldn’t want to have a beer with you anyway.

Alongside three bars bringing you plenty of tap froffs to choose from, you can sample bar snacks, NYC-style pizzas and pub classics from one of the chefs behind Melbourne hotspots Nico’s Sandwich Deli, Takeaway Pizza, Dexter and Dom’s Social Club.

All in all, this is taking the out dated and childish bowling alley, sending it back to the good old days with a vintage vibe and then upping it further with the best of Melbourne’s F&B prowess.
