Guess what’s coming in hot, or should we say cold? A 12 day Ice Cream Festival to put the final nail in the coffin from your post festive season rig.
The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, and sister venues the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie will be hosting this epic celebration of all things Ice Cream from February 9-20.
Now firstly, let’s talk numbers. How does a whopping 144 flavours sound? That’s a lazy 12 new flavours every day for you maths geeks playing along at home).
Each venue will be putting together there own little flavour offerings and let’s just say it’s got something for everyone. From the boring, traditionalist taste bud, to the loud AF, knock me out of the park taste bud.
So yep, your go to chocolate will be on the menu. But so to will some insane picks like fried macaroni and cheese and dill pickle, blueberry boba bubble tea, French toast, black garlic and chocolate or a lavish Moulin Rouge and salted brown butter pecan. Of course there’s an Aperol Spritz inspired gem as well.
Entry is free but of course you can expect to be getting more than your regular scoop.
You can even book into a 45-minute tasting, where $24 let’s you sample 12 flavours and the chance to create your own rocky road ice cream masterpiece.
Make sure you grind it out harder in the gym now folks. This one will put you back a couple of steps but it’s totally worth it!
