The World First Hawker to be awarded a Michelin Star is in Melbourne!

 

Michelin Stars aren’t exactly renowned for being friendly to your bank account. But Hawker Chan, with three locations across Melbourne, is your best bet to sample Michelin Star quality food at affordable prices. No bullshi*t, just lot’s of chicken!

Founded by Chef Chan Hong Meng in Singapore’s famed hawker centres, he became the first hawker to win one Michelin star in both 2016 and 2017, with their Signature Soya Sauce Chicken.

Hawker Chan has three established locations in the CBD, Chadstone and Box Hill, continuing Chef Chan’s legacy of affordable and delicious hawker food that tastes like ‘home’.

Dead set I’m frothing as I type this and considering jumping in the car, and burning as much Michelin rubber as it takes to get myself some of their Soya Sauce Chicken.
