At least the food is good…
There’s more than a couple of places going around where they just don’t even remotely try to have decent customer service ey. We’ve all experienced it. They’re just crap and you leave with a bad taste in your mouth.
Well this new place also doesn’t try, but we tell you what, you’ll actually leave with a good taste in your mouth. That’s cos the food is ace and the whole point is to have a laugh and a half at how purposely shyte their service is!
Meet Karen’s Diner. We couldn’t have named it better ourselves.
The pop up dining experience, from the brave minds at Wonderland Bar & Beyond Cinema, is hitting Melbourne from March 24.
Rude service, singing waiters and regular guest appearances from the manager (cos your inner Karen will let loose) are the name of the game. But don’t expect them to give a f*ck when you unleash on them.
The food is great, the service is more than ungrateful but this is a dining experience with a difference that is truly unforgettable.
And to match how horrific the service is, at least you’ll be chomping down on US style comfort food ft. epic burgers and the like.
Funnily enough you’ll actually be flicking them a decent Google review.
PS. if your name IS actually Karen, you’ll at least get a bit of love with a free drink.
