Turning arsonists into artists!
We reckon you’ve probably got yourself some nice glassware at home. And you’ve probably thought the folks that make that must be pretty skilled. Well now you can be a guru too with Gordon Studio Glassblowers Workshops!
This is another ripper ‘do different’ activity to tick off your list that will see you learning how to boss and manipulate your way through molten glass to create some beautiful and original paperweights and tumblers. And what better way to do it than with two of Australia’s most prominent GOAT’s in the field of glassblowers and glass artisans.
In this one-day workshop, you’ll get a mega insight into traditional Venetian techniques used in hot glass studios. You’ll be able to take the reins with absolutely no experience necessary, you just have to be above the sweet age of 16.
The day kicks off at 9:15am until 4:15pm and its BYO lunch and drinks because you’re making glass, not food. Wear loose and comfy clothes, cover your tippy toes with proper shoes and make sure your hair is tied back because this is hot stuff!
Make sure you stay up to date with the latest dates on offer here! You can find Gordon Studio Glassblowers at 290 Red Hill Road, Red Hill, VIC 3937.
