Guess what’s just come in hot. Only your casual festival completely dedicated to one of the best winter warmer drinks of all time as Victoria’s Hot Chocolate Festival is back!
Escape the chill this winter as the fest hits three locations across Victoria: the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and the Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie.
We’re not sure if your maths is as good as ours but they are rocking 31 different flavours from August 1st – 31st. Yep, you could go daily for a month and never get bored.
We are a bit naughty as you know here at Doer and so of course there’s options to ‘spike’ your hot chocolate. Look out for the Snickertini which includes shots of Baileys and Vodka.
Each hot chocolate is barista made and you can’t really go wrong with the likes of The Tim Tam Caramel Bomb or the Devonshire which is crowned with its own cronut.
And if you’re really in the mood to destroy the whole ‘summer bods are made in winter’ gig, then opt for the 45 minute tasting session. For just $24 you’ll sip and sample a selection of 8 flavours before making three of your own hot chocolate spoons from a whopping 50 ingredients to take home!
Just remember a hot chocolate a day keeps the doc away, kind of, not really.
The Hot Chocolate Festival runs daily from August 1–31 at the Yarra Valley Chocolateire, 35 Old Healesville Road, Yarra Glen; Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie, 1200 Great Ocean Road, Bellbrae; and the Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie, 45 Cook Street, Flinders.
